Job summary

nVent is seeking a Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer to own complex product launches from kickoff to PPAP, Safe Launch, and ECNs. You will champion manufacturing readiness and collaborate with Design, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain to deliver scalable, cost-effective, and quality-focused products.

The role emphasizes guidance on APQP, ECN activity, risk mitigation, and manufacturability improvements while mentoring engineers and shaping the future portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
Experience leading complex NPI programs and APQP/PPAP activities.
Knowledge of APQP, ECNs, Control Plans, FMEAs, and capability studies.
Ability to interpret drawings and use CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI initiatives from kickoff through PPAP and ECNs, ensuring manufacturing readiness.
Guide project teams on risk mitigation strategies and RPN reduction.
Collaborate with Design, Operations, Program Management and Supply Chain.
Provide technical direction in APQP execution and launch strategy.
Mentor manufacturing and NPI engineers and share guidelines.
