Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse for an outpatient role, leading patient-centered, coordinated care. You will assess, plan, and implement comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians and staff.

The position requires NLN/AACN accreditation, an NP Master's or Doctorate, NPI, CDS/DEA prescriptive authority, and strong communication plus computer skills. Office hours are Monday to Friday, with weekend options as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Join our primary care team as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in a dynamic, outpatient-only setting. In this role, you will be a leader in our patient-centered, coordinated care model, working collaboratively to assess, plan, and implement comprehensive patient care. We are seeking a professional who demonstrates strong competencies in clinical practice, leadership, and ethical decision-making.

The (office hours) are Monday-Friday 8a-8p and Saturdays 8a-12p.

The NP hours for during the week could either be 8a-430p or 12p-8p.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
