Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Transition of Care Unit as a part-time Nurse Practitioner. The position offers 20 hours per week, including every Saturday and Monday, with benefits.

The candidate will hold an NLN/AACN accredited nursing degree and an NP credential, with prescriptive authority and a collaborative physician agreement. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for coordinating patient care across teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
