Job summary

Ascension is seeking a motivated NP/PA to join a busy Cardiology team in an employed position within a large health system network. The role involves inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with a vascular focus and a 1:4 call structure in a high-volume setting.

You will join a 387-bed hospital with Level II trauma and an integrated referral network, supported by excellent office staff and Ascension’s mission-centered culture.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date.
• DEA registration preferred.
• Registered Nurse credentialing preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse preferred.

Education

• Masters Degree of Nursing required.
