Job summary

American Family Care Phillipsburg is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to care for patients within the scope of training and the agreement. You will work collaboratively with other providers and staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high satisfaction.

The position varies by franchise and location. The role requires board-certified NP/PA credentials and state licensure, with ER/UC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certification with ER/UC experience preferred.
• Active NP/PA license in state, plus DEA number and state-controlled substance certification as required.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take complete health histories; review records; order labs, imaging, and diagnostics as appropriate.
• Formulate medical diagnoses and initiate therapy or referrals.
• Provide emergency stabilization as needed (cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, etc.).
• Interpret patient data to guide treatment decisions.
• Educate patients and families about health care and prevention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
