Job summary

American Family Care Perth Amboy is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality care within the scope of training and approved agreements. You will collaborate with other providers to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction, working at a franchised AFC location.

The role requires PA or NP licensure in the state, board certification, DEA, and the ability to multi-task. The franchise setting emphasizes a patient-centered approach and a flexible, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Board certification: ANCC/AANP/NCCPA (ER/UC experience preferred).
• Active PA/NP licensure in state of practice, DEA number and state CDS cert.
• Able to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take complete patient histories and document accurately.
• Develop medical assessments and order labs/imaging as appropriate.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilize patients when needed.
• Interpret patient data to guide management and referrals.
• Educate patients and families on health care and promotion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
