Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate RN for a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm). You will lead nursing care plans, assess residents, and implement physicians’ orders to deliver high-quality care.

We offer competitive pay based on experience, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing with high motivation.
• Provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents resident conditions and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members per resident needs and capabilities.

• Documents treatment as required and ensures supplies/equipment are maintained safely.

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Other duties as assigned
