Job summary

Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on days 7:00am–7:00pm. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, implement care plans, administer medications, and document patient status.

We offer competitive pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, paid time off after 30 days, 6 observed holidays with premium pay or leave, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, take-home pay up to 75% of net

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Strong communication with residents and families.
• Ability to act decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care that exceeds standards and initiate care plans.
• Assess and document residents' conditions and needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing tasks to team members based on resident needs.
• Administer medications and start IVs as required.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment and manage supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing
• Valid RN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situationsAbility to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
