Job summary

Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an RN to provide compassionate nursing care in a close-knit facility setting. You will participate in care planning, document residents’ conditions, and ensure orders are carried out accurately and promptly.

The role includes evening/night shifts, a $12,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, and benefits such as PTO, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.

• Days 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Nights 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Essential FunctionsofRegistered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

QualificationsofRegistered Nurse (RN):

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid RN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
