Job summary

Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse for the night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Join our dedicated team and provide high-quality resident care in a supportive, small-team environment within a large enterprise network.

We offer competitive pay based on experience, an $8,000 sign-on bonus for qualified full-time LPNs, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan with company contributions after one

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• Valid LPN license and CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing and care plans.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members per patient needs.
• Administer medications and start IVs as assigned.
• Document treatments and ensure supplies and equipment are maintained safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
