Job summary

Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Springfield, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team. We offer day and night shifts (6:30 AM–6:30 PM and 6:30 PM–6:30 AM) with a strong emphasis on resident-centered care.

Qualifying full-time candidates receive a $12,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay based on experience, shift differential for night shifts, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a 401(k) with company match

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):
