Talent With Heart, a not-for-profit focused CPA firm in the Greater Chicagoland area, seeks an Audit Manager to lead nonprofit engagements from planning through completion, guiding audit teams and building strong client relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; master's degree a plus.
• 5–7+ years of audit experience within a public accounting firm.
• Experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, and developing audit staff.
• Excellent client relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage audit engagements for nonprofit clients across sectors.
• Oversee planning, fieldwork, financial reporting, and final deliverables.
• Develop engagement budgets, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Review statements, workpapers, and management letters.
• Ensure engagements meet professional standards and quality expectations.
• Mentor audit associates and senior accountants; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Partners on strategy and client development.
• Stay current on nonprofit accounting standards and IRS Form 990 considerations.
