Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an Audit Manager specializing in Not-for-Profit organizations for a well-established CPA firm in the Greater Chicagoland area.

You will lead nonprofit engagements, manage teams, and nurture client relationships while advancing toward partnership. The role emphasizes quality, governance, and work-life balance with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; master's degree a plus.
• 5–7+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, and developing audit staff.
• Excellent client relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Audit Engagement Management: Lead and manage audit engagements for nonprofit clients, including planning, fieldwork, financial reporting, and final deliverables.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as primary contact for nonprofit audit clients and communicate progress to client leadership.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor audit staff; coordinate staffing, budgets, and resources.
• Nonprofit Accounting & Compliance: Apply nonprofit accounting principles and relevant reporting requirements; review Form 990 filings.
