Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Northwest Hydropower Regulatory and Environmental Manager to lead HDR’s hydropower environmental and regulatory group across the Northwest.

You will supervise staff, coordinate relicensing projects, and mentor teams while ensuring quality and on-time delivery for FERC relicensing efforts. Based in Seattle/Bellevue/Olympia area, this full-time role requires strong communication, regulatory experience, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental permitting, regulatory process management, or project management.
• Experience with FERC hydropower licensing or related regulatory processes preferred.
• Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HDR’s Northwest hydropower environmental and regulatory team.
• Manage relicensing projects and coordinate with staff, clients, and agencies.
• Serve as senior QA/QC for relicensing services and project reviews.
• Prepare for and participate in regulatory meetings/hearings as required.
• Travel to support project assignments as needed.
