Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a NW Hydropower Regulatory and Environmental Manager to lead a regional team, direct relicensing projects, and coordinate regulatory activities with clients and agencies.

You will oversee staff development, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive business-class initiatives for Northwest hydropower relicensing. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in environmental permitting, strong leadership, superb communication, and familiarity with FERC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years experience
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Active participant of our employee-owned culture
• Experience with FERC hydropower licensing or similar regulatory processes

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to team and ensure high-quality performance
• Lead Northwest Region relicensing and environmental regulatory efforts
• Manage large/complex relicensing projects and coordinate with stakeholders
• Serve as project manager on large relicensing projects
• Travel to project sites as needed
• Participate in regulatory agency meetings and client coordination
