Job summary

Georgia-Pacific seeks an Area Sales Manager to lead the Northern California Agriculture Product Segment and support its integrated box business. Based near San Leandro, Modesto, or Madera, CA, the role requires up to 40% travel and may include relocation assistance.

You will develop and execute sales strategies, lead and develop the commercial sales team, strengthen partnerships, and drive profitable growth through market-focused pricing and pipeline management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of outside B2B sales experience in packaging, corrugated, or related field.
• Experience mentoring or leading a sales team and driving sales targets.
• Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and plans.
• Strong business and financial acumen including pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the commercial sales team, including recruiting and coaching.
• Build partnerships between sales and operations across multiple capabilities.
• Apply knowledge of Northern California agriculture to support sales and customers.
• Improve profit margins and drive profitability through strategic road mapping and P&L impact.
• Create market sales and pricing strategies aligned with market focus.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and ensure sales discipline.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company safety standards.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 apps and Microsoft Dynamics CRM in daily activity.
