Job summary

Halter, a leading provider of virtual fencing technology, is seeking a Territory Manager for Northern California. You will drive new business, manage end-to-end sales, and own the regional growth while coordinating onboarding and customer success.

Frequent travel to ranches, auctions, and industry events is required. You will build relationships with local, state, and federal stakeholders and feed insights back to the US sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Results‑oriented with excellent communication to customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of ranching or cattle operations and the industry challenges.
• Proven track record in sales, building long‑term customer relationships, and growing engagements.
• Experience managing a large territory with focus on sales and customer success, ideally in agriculture or tech.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business by attending local cattle auctions, engaging livestock associations, and outbound lead generation.
• Meet potential customers on ranches, provide onsite demonstrations of Halter's solutions.
• Grow current accounts by identifying upsell opportunities and increasing product use.
• Manage a pipeline, hit quarterly sales targets, and own the territory.
• Coordinate with onboarding and support teams to ensure a smooth customer journey from sale to deployment.
• Travel frequently within the Northern California region.
