Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is seeking a Construction Business Development Manager to drive growth across Northern California from Livermore or Stockton. You will develop relationships with owners, developers, brokers, architects, and consultants to uncover opportunities in retail, office, medical, multifamily, and more.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development or sales in construction.
• Established Northern California network.
• Strong East Bay, Central Valley through Sacramento, Santa Rosa, and San Jose relationships.
• Proven track record in securing new business.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD strategies across Northern California.
• Build relationships with clients, developers, brokers, architects, consultants, and industry influencers.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across retail, office, medical, multifamily, and other sectors.
• Leverage existing industry network to generate qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations and preconstruction teams on pursuits, proposals, and client presentations.
• Attend industry events to strengthen market presence.
• Track and manage opportunities through the sales pipeline from initial contact through project award.
• Provide market intelligence and client feedback to leadership.
• Support proposal development, interviews, and other growth initiatives.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation for quality and integrity.
