GovDeals is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth across Northern California and Northern Nevada, including remote work with significant field travel. The role focuses on expanding government and public-sector adoption of GovDeals' online auction platform and enhancing revenue recovery for public institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in business, public administration, sales or customer service is a plus.
• At least 5+ years in business development or related client-facing roles, ideally in a tech-enabled service setting.
• Experience with government agencies and public-sector stakeholders; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan across Northern California and Northern Nevada.
• Identify, prospect, and close government and public-sector opportunities.
• Build relationships with municipal leaders, procurement professionals, and school districts.
• Deliver in-person and virtual presentations, product demonstrations, and training.
• Maintain forecasts, pipeline, and CRM records; collaborate with internal teams to drive growth.
• Travel frequently to engage clients and re-engage dormant accounts.
