Job summary

Veolia Water Tech seeks a highly motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities within the Northeast region.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with support teams. Travel nationwide may be required, including overnight stays, with a focus on ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple service calls and administrative responsibilities.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, calibrations, software updates, and operational verification.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures at customer sites.
• Replace defective components and perform corrective maintenance to restore equipment to factory specifications.
• Complete service reports, calibration documentation, and all required paperwork accurately and within deadlines.
• Generate quotations for billable repairs, PM agreements, and system upgrades.
