Job summary

Veolia Water Tech seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer sites. The role covers Boston and surrounding states, with travel across the Northeast and nationwide as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of field service experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with support and sales teams. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems per procedures and specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, software updates, and verification.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Produce service reports, calibration docs, and administrative paperwork on time.
