Job summary
Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities across an assigned territory. This remote, travel-based role focuses on the Northeast region, with primary coverage in Boston, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, and occasional support in VT and ME.
Candidates must reside in CT, MA, or RI and be willing to travel.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel extensively and hold a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and software updates.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites.
- Generate quotations for billable repairs and PM agreements.
- Train customers on system operation and maintenance.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
