Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Complementary Distribution Territory Manager for the Northeast Territory. You will drive sales and business development of gas and diesel gensets up to 200 kVA, engaging customers and contractors, negotiating contracts, and expanding the channel network.

Location is remote from a home office in PA, WV, or MD with up to 75% travel. Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years of sales experience is preferred, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field or strong equivalent experience.
• 3+ years sales or business development experience.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial gas and diesel generator market & technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and channel partnerships in the Northeast Territory.
• Interact with customers for technical clarifications, contract negotiation, and opportunity management.
• Develop new channel partners in the Northeast Territory.
• Pipeline generation and CRM updates; represent the business line in the territory.
