Job summary

Copperweld is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across traditional power grid markets and renewable energy sectors in the Northeast U.S. You will manage a network of manufacturers’ representatives, travel 50-70%, and act as a brand ambassador for Copperweld’s renewables and power grid lines.

You will educate stakeholders across electric utilities, EPCs, developers, and contractors, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet sales and EBITDA targets while expanding Copperweld’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5-10+ years of wire and cable sales experience; renewable energy or utility exposure preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution sales within the utility or energy sectors.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and ERP systems; CRM experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual sales and EBITDA goals across power grid and renewables sectors.
• Build relationships with utilities, EPCs, developers, and contractors.
• Develop territory go-to-market strategies including SWOT and account planning.
• Drive brand awareness and specification adoption of Copperweld products in renewables projects.
• Identify and convert opportunities with key accounts in traditional and renewable markets.
• Cultivate partnerships with distributors and channel partners.
