Job summary

Wieland Electric North America is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the North East, USA. This role focuses on executing regional sales plans, account development, and building strong relationships with customers to drive revenue growth.

You will manage independent rep firms, develop distribution partners, travel extensively, and collaborate with marketing and product management to create targeted initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of outside sales experience in industrial automation or electrical components preferred.
• Experience managing independent sales reps and distribution networks is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Manage independent rep firms and distribution partners to expand market reach.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and direct customer engagement.
• Conduct regular field and virtual visits with customers, reps, and distributors.
• Utilize CRM tools for forecasting, reporting, and tracking sales activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and distribution channels.
• Monitor market trends and customer requirements to refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing and product management on targeted initiatives.
• Travel extensively within the region.
