Job summary

Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Motion Control to cover the Northeast US, including CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, collaborating with engineering to tailor solutions and drive growth across a dynamic territory.

This hunter-first role requires 4+ years of direct motion-control sales, technical knowledge of servo drives and controllers, and a willingness to travel ~50%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of direct sales experience in motion control, servo systems, or closely adjacent automation technology.
• Solid working knowledge of servo drives, motion controllers, and automation system architecture.
• A genuine hunter mentality: self-motivated, persistent, and energised by finding and winning new business.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across the territory — targeting 20%+ year-over-year — through a balanced focus on expanding existing accounts and winning new business.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan that identifies high-value opportunities, prioritizes prospects, and maps a clear path to sustainable growth.
• Own the full sales cycle: qualify leads, develop strategic proposals tailored to each customer's application, deliver compelling technical presentations, and close.
• Manage and grow relationships with OEM and VAR accounts, acting as a trusted long-term partner rather than a transactional vendor.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline in Salesforce — tracking activity, opportunities, and forecasts so you always know where you stand and where to focus.
• Collaborate with the applications engineering team to support pre-sales technical evaluations and ensure customers get solutions that truly fit their needs.
• Feed market intelligence back to the business: emerging customer requirements, competitive activity, and application trends that inform product and go-to-market strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites — you're the face of the brand in the Northeast.
