Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE USA is seeking a District Sales Engineer for the Northeast Sales Team to cover Massachusetts. The role focuses on revenue generation by promoting SEW-EURODRIVE products and building strong customer relationships across the territory.

The position offers a salary range of $80,000–$95,000 with additional commission and bonus potential, reflecting experience and qualifications. Occasional travel to customer facilities is required in this Boston-area market.

Qualifications

• Must be located in or relocate to Greater Boston Massachusetts area.
• Experience with gear reducers, electric motors, VFDs, and motion controllers.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer facilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States on an indefinite basis.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Frequent travel to customers.
• Ability to sit, stand, and lift frequently.
• Preference for Associate degree in engineering or related field.
• Preference for 2 years Outside Sales or 4 years Inside Sales.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue and increase sales of SEW-EURODRIVE products.
• Develop and nurture relationships with personnel at customer accounts.
• Conduct frequent sales calls for face-to-face interaction.
• Develop and manage sales strategies and programs to increase sales.
• Provide technical, training, promotional, and sales support to customers including OEMs, Users, Distributors, and Resellers.
• Understand major markets and industries.
• Develop and perform customer training as needed.
• Attend trainings and self-train to grow product/industry knowledge.
• Provide added value through knowledge and follow-up.
• Qualify and develop sales leads.
