Job summary

Blue Bridge People is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting across the Northeast. The role focuses on customer relationships and timely field documentation.

Qualified candidates bring technical experience in industrial or military settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to work remotely from a home office while traveling 2-3 nights per week. Company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate with field experience in industrial or military setting.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with paper machine applications a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work remotely from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute service, installation, and troubleshooting visits to customer sites.
• Provide accurate and timely reports, billing documentation, and field notes.
• Conduct surveys, map machines, and evaluate existing equipment.
• Communicate with engineering teams regarding field modifications.
• Support sales by promoting products, service contracts, and spare parts.
