Job summary

Blue Lynx is seeking a Customer Service Consultant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment faults, perform repairs at customer sites, and train customers on operation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English, has 3+ years in technical customer service or field service, can read schematics, drive a company vehicle with a valid licence, travel 50% or more, and work independently with strong communication and

Must be fluent in English, written and spoken.
Minimum of three years in technical customer service or field service.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Proficiency with multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
Good understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
MS Office and CRM experience is expected.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and ensure proper function of equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
Perform repairs, maintenance and upgrades at customer sites.
Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Handle customer requests, warranty claims and inquiries.
Provide technical support and advise customers.
Work with sales to maintain relationships and identify opportunities.
Assess customer needs and recommend equipment, parts, services.
Develop new business opportunities through referrals and prospecting.
Maintain customer records, sales data and inventory in systems.
Ensure company vehicle, tools and spare parts are ready for visits.
Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation.
