Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a Commercial Insurance Specialist to help small businesses find the right coverage through consultative sales and tailored solutions. You will prospect, build client and referral relationships, and work with multiple carriers to deliver coverage and service.

The role requires residing in the Northeast and may offer base salary plus bonuses and uncapped commissions, with total first-year compensation from $65k to $125k.

Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with common small commercial products: BOP, GL, property, auto, workers’ comp, cyber, umbrella, surety/bonds.
• Networking and prospecting to generate top-of-funnel leads.
• Experience using agency management systems and comparative raters.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• P&C license or progress toward them, with requirement to obtain upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts (revenues under $10M).
• Counsel and advise prospects and policyholders on protection and coverage needs.
• Prepare and present quotes by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers.
• Meet goals for volume of new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Build relationships with referring agents to create COI/lead streams.
• Provide service for endorsements, cancellations, audits, and claims liaison.
• Stay current on carrier appetite, new products, and underwriting guidelines.
