Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Northeast Building Envelope team. The role focuses on investigations and remediation of existing buildings, exterior restoration, preservation design, forensics, and design of new facades, roofing, and waterproofing systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture or Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Revit, and AutoCAD. Willingness to travel in the Northeast is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Architecture or Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in building envelope projects.
• Professional licensure is preferred.
• Direct knowledge of building envelope systems: roofing, waterproofing, glazing, claddings.
• Travel to job sites around Maine, New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts and the greater Northeast.

Aufgaben

• Manage building envelope consulting projects and client relationships.
• Perform condition assessments, testing program development, and reporting.
• Develop repair design strategies and basis-of-design reports.
• Prepare and review design drawings and specifications; provide construction phase services.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, conservators, labs, and contractors.
