Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a North Texas Water Business Group Professional Services Leader in Fort Worth, TX. This senior role leads technical staff, drives profitability, and coordinates cross-functional delivery across water projects.

You will guide QA/QC activities, develop staff competencies, and work with market sector leaders to meet client demands while upholding HDR's employee-owned culture and commitment to community impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
At least 10 years' experience; 15 years preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of the local market.
Active engagement in professional associations to enhance HDR expertise and brand.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of staff to meet client needs and market drivers.
Oversee project oversight, management reviews, financials and driving profitability at the project level.
Lead quality assurance efforts and continuous improvement initiatives, including QA/QC program activities.
Review hiring needs, requisitions and offers as delegated by Business Group Manager.
Partner with Market Sector Leaders and Project Delivery Leaders to align workload and resources.
Oversee technical and digital delivery evolution in collaboration with subject matter experts.
