Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience.
• Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience.
• Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams. Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.
• Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand.
• Ability to work cooperatively with regional and local office managers, other area business group directors, technical directors and marketing managers.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of staff.
• Oversee project operations, reviews, financials and profitability at project level.
• Supervise cross-sector leads and ensure value through delivery and risk management.
• Lead staff development and training in technical and business skills.
• Collaborate with market sector leads on workload projections.
• Lead QA/QC program activities and continuous improvement.
• Review fee proposals and participate in key pursuits.
• Support project reviews and manage claims and losses.
• Champion BGX opportunities and coordinate with other groups.
• Perform other duties as needed.
