Job summary

PagerDuty seeks a Senior Director of Solutions Consulting to lead North America presales, shaping the strategic direction of demos, POVs, and value engineering across enterprise segments. You will partner with sales, product, and customer revenue leadership to drive net revenue retention and expansion while building scalable, repeatable engagement frameworks.

Strong leadership and executive presence are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical sales with 3+ years in a senior people-management role.
• Proven track record partnering with sales leadership to drive revenue across many customers.
• Experience selling SaaS and cloud technologies to IT operations, engineering, or CTO offices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication for senior executives.
• Track record of managing SC leadership metrics (NRR, POV-to-close, win rate).

Responsibilities

• Define the vision for NA Solution Consulting & Value Engineering across segments.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Revenue leadership to guide product direction and success metrics.
• Build scalable playbooks and a Global Center of Excellence for demo engineering and POVs.
• Hire and develop high-performing team members to support growth.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members for career progression.
• Collaborate with regional peers to optimize and scale processes.
• Directly engage in deals, identify risks and opportunities, and lead POVs.
• Own the full customer journey from prospect to post-sale expansion.
