Job summary

MAHLE GmbH is seeking a HR Director who serves as the HR advisor to US/CAN regional leaders, driving business success through strategic people leadership, workforce planning, labor relations, organizational effectiveness, and talent management. This role partners with CoEs, Shared Service Centers, and local leadership to translate global HR strategies into US/CAN actions.

As the primary HR escalation point for management and unions, you will ensure compliance, foster positive employee relations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's in HR or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HRBP leadership experience in automotive or manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading HR teams and enterprise-wide people strategies.
• Proven success in HR transformation, organizational change, and labor relations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation, and HR analytics.
• Ability to influence at all levels and partner with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic HR advisor to US/CAN regional leaders and plant/functional leaders.
• Collaborate with MX HR leader to align NAM HR strategies across the region.
• Lead HR transformation, change management, and organizational design initiatives.
• Drive talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
• Partner with unions and leadership to manage employee relations and compliance.
• Advance HR operational excellence with Centers of Excellence and Shared Services.
