Job summary

Heraeus is seeking a experienced Head of Human Resources for the Americas to lead regional HR strategy and operations. You will supervise HR professionals across multiple functions, ensure compliant, high-quality HR services, and drive talent development in the U.S. and Canada.

You will partner with senior leaders and the global HR organization to standardize processes, improve operations, and advance organizational initiatives regionally, while guiding cultural change and inclusion efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including responsibility for multiple HR disciplines.
• At least 5 years of people management leading HR teams.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and US employment law.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional HR strategy and operations for the Americas.
• Oversee HR Shared Services and Centers of Excellence (HRDirect).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and leadership development within the region.
• Partner with senior leaders and global HR to standardize processes and drive improvements.
