Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a North America Demand & Supply Planning Manager to lead the regional demand planning, supply planning, and inventory performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Planning, and/or Supply Chain Planning in complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading end-to-end planning processes including forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP/IBP.
• Supervisory experience coaching, developing, and leading employees to improve performance.
• Extensive knowledge of IBP, S&OP, S&OE, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MRP, Inventory Management, Procurement, Materials Management, and Logistics.
• Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Location: On Site in Marinette, WI OR Lubbock, TX
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
• Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000; competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America Demand Planning and Supply Planning to forecast demand, plan supply, manage inventory, and schedule suppliers.
• Facilitate demand planning, including statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy improvement, and alignment with Commercial, Product Management, and Finance teams.
• Own regional supply planning: balance supply, manage constraints, plan capacity, deploy inventory, and mitigate supply risk.
• Translate demand plans into executable supply plans aligning manufacturing, supplier capabilities, and distribution.
• Lead monthly IBP-based Supply Review processes aligning demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans.
• Drive execution in S&OE, resolve shortages, prioritize customer requirements, and mitigate risks.
• Develop inventory optimization strategies across facilities and networks to improve service levels and working capital.
• Establish and maintain supply planning policies, parameters, safety stock, replenishment, and governance.
• Partner with Procurement and Supplier Management to improve reliability and reduce lead-time variability.
• Lead capacity planning and scenario modeling to support growth and changing market conditions.
• Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives (Johnson Controls Business Systems) including Kanban and standardization.
• Mentor planning professionals to build organizational capability and drive results.
