Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Sr. Director to design and lead a global demand planning organization for Data Center Solutions across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. You will own the end-to-end demand signal, consolidating regional forecasts into a single global plan in units and dollars.

You will recruit and lead a global team, drive forecast accuracy, and integrate S&OP with supply chain and manufacturing plants while managing growth, NPI, and high-level stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP, including 5+ years leading teams.
• Proven success establishing or transforming a demand planning / S&OP process in a global multi-plant environment.
• Deep expertise in statistical forecasting, consensus planning, forecast accuracy, and reconciliation.
• Strong financial acumen – translate demand to units and dollars and align to revenue and backlog.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Build the global demand planning process, from product hierarchy to scope and handoffs.
• Lead a global team of Demand Planning Managers and product demand planners.
• Own the monthly consensus demand plan, reconciling forecasts into a single global plan.
• Establish forecast accuracy targets and tracking to improve models and behaviors.
• Provide the demand-side handshake to Supply Chain and plants for capacity and capital needs.
• Plan for growth and NPI with lifecycle planning for new products.
• Chair the monthly demand review and align with Finance’s outlook and backlog.
• Integrate major-customer insights into the forward demand signal.
