Job summary

Midea in California is seeking a senior data center solutions leader to partner with sales and engineering teams, designing data center architectures that optimize cooling, power, and IT load. You will lead technical proposals, site surveys, and demonstrations to win strategic North American projects.

You bring 8+ years in data center design, familiarity with Uptime Tier and TIA-942, and a full-stack perspective on infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Refrigeration, Cryogenics, Thermal Engineering, HVAC, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in data center solution design, project delivery, or technical support.
• Proven experience in North American data center projects is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Uptime Tier, TIA-942, and other international standards.
• Fluent in English with strong cross-cultural communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage in high-level technical discussions with overseas clients.

Responsibilities

• Partner with KAMs to understand strategic clients' needs and co-create data center solutions.
• Lead technical proposal development, including bid documentation and cost estimation.
• Serve as primary technical interface for clients, delivering presentations and site demos.
• Ensure seamless transition from sales to EPC/engineering teams and enforce technical standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to resolve technical issues during delivery.
• Gather market intelligence to influence global product roadmaps and certifications.
