Mott MacDonald seeks a Data Center Electrical Design Lead to steer high‑density, mission‑critical electrical systems across North America. You will shape design strategy, governance, and delivery while mentoring teams and advancing our data center capabilities.

Collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams, you will drive reliable power, redundancy, and energy efficiency for hyperscale and enterprise facilities, ensuring alignment with North American codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience leading electrical design for data centers or mission‑critical infrastructure.
• Primary technical focus on data center electrical design across hyperscale, cloud, or enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of NA electrical codes, protection, grounding, and power quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design strategy for major data center projects across North America.
• Provide senior technical oversight for load studies, fault analysis, and coordination studies.
• Mentor engineers and design managers; drive QA/QC and design governance.
