Job summary

HoSt Bioenergy Systems is seeking an Area Sales Manager – North America to drive growth in biogas, RNG, organics processing, and carbon capture projects.

The role targets complex, engineered solutions with long sales cycles, requiring collaboration with developers, engineers, financial partners, and project owners across North America. The hybrid role is based in Vancouver, WA, with substantial travel and cross-border coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience selling complex engineered solutions to engineers, executives, and financial stakeholders.
• Ability to develop opportunities before RFQs and manage long sales cycles.
• Comfort discussing technical and commercial outcomes with diverse audiences.
• Proven track record in complex project-based sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities early and build credibility with project developers and engineers.
• Position HoSt capabilities across North America before formal purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with sales engineers and technical experts on design and ROI.
• Engage financial partners and project owners to shape financing strategy.
• Manage multi-stakeholder relationships across long, 12–24 month cycles.
• Develop and nurture partnerships rather than pursuing only transactional deals.
