Job summary

Trenton Health Team is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounts payable, general ledger, receivables, payroll, and grants reporting. This role reports to the Director of Finance and supports the annual audit process.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting with at least three years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Sage Intacct and Excel. Non-profit and grant accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; minimum three years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software and Excel/Sheets
• Payroll processing knowledge and best practices
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Payables: record invoices and disbursements in Sage Intacct; manage approvals and vendor files.
• General Ledger: manage prepaid and accrued expenses, recurring entries, and month/year-end close.
• Receivables: process invoicing, manage aging, ensure grant/contract invoicing compliance.
• Payroll: prepare and submit ADP payroll and related GL entries.
• Month/Year-End Close: support annual audit and close schedules.
• Grants & Reporting: create reports, monitor grant budgets and spend down.
