Job summary

The Northern Nevada Development Authority is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the chief executive officer and lead strategic economic development across Northern Nevada. You will align stakeholders, guide the organization’s vision, and ensure sustainable operations and fiscal health.

In this role you’ll work with boards, government partners, and private sector leaders to attract investment, expand manufacturing, and build a resilient regional economy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience.
• Proven experience in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and financial oversight.
• Proven ability to work effectively with boards, public agencies, and private-sector stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for NNDA's strategic plan and annual work program.
• Oversee fiscal integrity, budget, and regular financial reporting to the Board.
• Hire, supervise, develop, and retain a high-performing staff.
• Serve as NNDA's chief spokesperson to government officials, business leaders, media, and the public.
• Foster partnerships and lead fundraising, grants, and revenue strategies.
