Job summary

SNFout is seeking a Payroll Manager based in Brooklyn, NY to lead end-to-end payroll for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded staff, ensuring timely processing and compliance with laws while partnering with HR and Finance.

Responsibilities include reviewing payroll registers and tax filings, year-end processing, W-2s/1099s, and audits; maintaining UKG Ready; and driving improvements. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of payroll experience are required, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years payroll experience, preferably nonprofit or multi-site.
• Experience handling payroll for grant-funded staff or multiple funding sources preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regs, and wage/hour requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded staff.
• Ensure payroll is accurate and on schedule, compliant with laws and policies.
• Review payroll registers, tax filings, and wage payments before submission.
• Maintain payroll calendars, year-end processing, and audits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure payroll integrity.
