Job summary

Jonas Software is hiring a Business Development Manager (Outbound) to drive new revenue by identifying and engaging nonprofit prospects, documenting a repeatable outbound process, and coordinating with the CEO and leadership team.

You will own the early sales cycle, conduct effective discovery, craft compelling value propositions, and move opportunities through the pipeline while tracking key metrics and reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the nonprofit sector and funding structures.
• Strong ability to manage a full sales pipeline independently.
• Excellent relationship-building and listening skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Experience with CRM and sales pipeline management.
• Ability to translate product features into value for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a disciplined outbound sales process.
• Lead pre-demo meetings and conduct discovery conversations.
• Develop tailored demonstration plans and coordinate quotes.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through stages.
• Track metrics like outreach volume, time to close, and conversion rates.
• Report revenue progress to VP and CEO and assist goal setting.
