Job summary

Visit St. Mary’s MD is seeking an Operations and Sales Coordinator to oversee day-to-day accounting, budgeting, and sales coordination. The role connects event planners with tourism partners and supports strategic financial planning.

The ideal candidate has nonprofit experience, financial literacy, and group sales/marketing skills, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3 years of experience in Tourism and/or Accounting required.
• Willingness to travel: 25% (preferred).
• Non-profit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day expenses and accounting operations for VSMMD.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the board and subcommittees.
• Coordinate sales outreach to connect planners with tourism partners.
• Develop and monitor annual budget and financial policies.
