Job summary

DARTS is a community-based nonprofit in Minnesota seeking a Compliance & Finance Administrator to support financial operations, grant compliance, billing activities, and internal controls. You will help ensure accurate transactions, timely reporting, and strict adherence to funding requirements.

The role involves grant billings, client and third-party billing, funder documentation responses, cash monitoring, and collaboration with staff to align financial work with contracts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
• Knowledge of Journal entries, AP, AR, Payroll.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Ability to balance priorities with urgency and drive for results.
• Ability to create systems and document internal processes.
• Excellent organization and communication, attention to detail.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit grant billings and reimbursement requests.
• Manage client and third-party billing.
• Respond to funder documentation requests.
• Monitor cash balances and accounts payable.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with grant objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with program and administrative staff to ensure that financial activities align with contractual and funding requirements.
