Gateway Area Development District seeks a Director of Finance to lead the organization’s financial management. You will oversee all accounting functions, payroll, budgeting, Medicaid billing, and external reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will supervise the Finance team, coordinate audits, and partner with program leaders to align financial plans with strategic goals in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field with 3 years of nonprofit/government accounting experience.
• CPA preferred; willingness to pursue professional development.
• Proficiency in Excel and MIP Fund Accounting or similar systems.

• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll, budget development, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate annual audit process and prepare schedules for auditors.
• Prepare Medicaid billing and related revenue reporting.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial policies.
