Job summary

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) in Seattle seeks a Communications & Marketing Coordinator to raise ARC’s profile and support its partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation. You will craft digital content, maintain the ARC website, support donor communications, and promote events to engage families and communities.

The role reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and focuses on storytelling, campaigns, and inclusive recreation programs for all ages, aligning with ARC and SPR missions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in social media management, marketing outreach, or content coordination.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different platforms.
• Experience writing external communications on behalf of an organization.
• Familiarity with WCAG/ADA accessibility standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing plans, strategies, and activities.
• Develop strategies and tactics to increase awareness among program participants and donors.
• Lead and oversee ARC's social media presence, ensuring engagement and content flow.
