Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) seeks an Accountant for nonprofit organizations in the Atlanta area. The role supports multiple clients, handling accounts payable/receivable and payroll, with interaction across client staff and boards.

Hybrid work and a strong benefits package accompany a 35-hour standard work week. Responsibilities include financial reporting, grant tracking, cash flow projections, and audit preparation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of, or interest in learning, multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Intermediate-level Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when it is safe to do so.
• Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Process weekly and monthly accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financials and related analysis.
• Track and monitor grants.
• Develop cash flow projections and monitoring.
• Prepare for outside audits.
